I love to paint landscapes featuring the Haliburton Highlands area, where I live in the summer.  In the winter, I live in Florida, where I have started painting “plein air” (outdoors). You can view my work on my Paintings page.

Over the past couple of years, I have continued my art studies with some notable artists, Gordon Harrison (renowned Ottawa artist), Ian Roberts (fabulous landscape artist originally from Ontario) and local artist Harvey Walker. I was also privileged to have 2 years of mentorship with John David Anderson, a fabulous artist who paints impressionist landscapes of the beautiful nature in Ontario. These talented artists have been a great influence on me, as I continue to evolve in finding my artistic voice.

Within the last couple of years, I have returned to oil as my primary medium, and I’m learning how to incorporate bolder strokes and colour into my paintings.
